    The liquor is strong and bold with a rich spicy burst. As we take a sip it bursts with a strong note of star anise with a cooling sensation. As it rolls in the mouth, the spicyness covers the mouth full with bold and astringent flavours and ends with a unique aftertaste that wakes you up.

    The aroma bears a strong mix of star anise and ginger with a good blend of aroma from the chai mix.


  • DRY LEAF

    The leaves bear a refreshing and exotic star anise aroma with spicy notes. The appearance is blackish brown with exotic Indian spices.

    The leaves bursts of star anise with a spicy  note of ginger and clove with a bold note of the tea. The appearance of brown broken leaf with a mix of Indian spices.

FAQS

Chai is a black tea variety popularised in India. It is made using a technique called CTC- cut, tear and curl. In India, it is made with black tea, spices like ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, etc to which milk is and it is brewed together. Usually sugar and jaggery is added to sweeten it. 

We recommend a certain temperature (80-85 C; 90-95 C) for the water to be boiled fresh at the time of brewing the tea. This is only a guide and precision without a thermometer is challenging. You can simply boil and see for yourself. Boiling water is at 100 C, if you leave it for 30 sec it should be 90-95 C, if you leave it for 40-45 sec it should be 85-90 C, 1 minute should leave water at 80-85 C. 

Divide the 150 ml into 3 parts milk and 1 part water. To this add 2 gms of tea. Add the spices of your choice. Bring to a boil, simmer and let it sit together for 10 mins in the flame. Add sweetener of your choice and strain the tea. 


We vacuum package our tea in high barrier aluminium pouches to ensure freshness of the teas. We recommend that you store the teas in airtight container in a cool, dry and odour free place. This keeps it away from air, light and surrounding odour. Thereby ensuring longer shelf life and quality experience of the tea.

Our teas can be used upto 18-24 months from the date of manufacturing. However, teas once opened have to be stored in airtight containers and should be kept away from moisture, light and odour.
