    Medium bodied, mellow cup starts with the sweet notes of muscat grapes. Hints of aromatic wood in the middle, distinct note of tart fruit coat the palate and gradually makes a distinguished lingering finish.

    Nestling in the foothills of the snow-covered Himalayan range, Darjeeling grows one of the world's most exclusive teas. A cup of Darjeeling is golden or amber in colour and has a unique, delicate flavour that is referred to as "muscatel," or, having the flavour of muscatel grapes.

    GOOMTEE TEA ESTATE

    Goomtee is located amidst the lush abundance of tea estates nestled around it. It shares close proximity with Jungpana and Catleton. British Planter Henry Montogomery was the first to plant teas here in 1899. The plantation produces black and oolong teas. Their second flush china bush are a popular variety.

FAQS

Loose leaf teas are the best for consumption as one is able to brew the leaves properly while also enjoying maximum benefits from the tea leaves with quality tea experience. When steeped, loose leaf tea gives the complex flavours of tea that one can enjoy only in good quality teas. Also tea leaves need adequate space to properly unfurl while brewing.  So, for a flavourful and wholesome tea experience use loose leaf tea. 

We recommend a certain temperature (80-85 C; 90-95 C) for the fresh o2 rich filtered water to be boiled at the time of brewing tea. This is only a guide and precision without a thermometer is challenging. You can simply boil and see for yourself. Boiling water is at 100 C, if you leave it for 30 sec it should be around 90-95 C, if you leave it for 40-45 sec it should be around 85-90 C and 1 minute should leave water at around 80-85 C. 

Spoon measured the quantity of tea in the tea maker/pot. Pour boiled water (150 ML) over the tea leaves(2 g). Steep for suggested time (4-5 minutes). Strain & sweeten as per choice. Pour it in a cup and enjoy the #PluckToCup experience.


We vacuum package our tea in high barrier aluminium pouches to ensure freshness of the teas. We recommend that you store the teas in airtight containers in a cool and dry place. This keeps it away from moisture and odour. Thereby ensuring no alterations to the aroma and flavour of tea. 

Our teas can be used upto 18 to 24 months from the date of manufacturing. However, teas once opened have to be stored in airtight containers and should be kept away from moisture, light and odour.
